PROFILE

Song Mihyon was born in 1976 in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture and graduated from Osaka University Faculty of Medicine in 2001. After working at Osaka University Hospital and Rinku General Medical Center, she was appointed as a lecturer at Kawasaki Medical School.

In 2009, she studied at the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) in London to further specialize in fetal ultrasound. She earned a doctorate from Kawasaki Medical School’s Graduate School of Medicine in 2015.

Ms. Song is currently engaged in perinatal and women's healthcare while actively sharing medical information through television, the internet, magazines, and books. She is dedicated to addressing social issues and improving health literacy from the perspective of an obstetrician-gynecologist.
