PROFILE

Kaika Maeda graduated from the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Law, Keio University, and completed her studies at the Mediacom Research Institute, Keio University, before joining TV Tokyo in 2007. She has worked as a news anchor on news programs such as World Business Satellite, M Plus 11, Nikkei FT Saturday – 9, and election specials, as well as a sports news anchor, reporter, interviewer, and interpreter for golf, figure skating, and table tennis broadcasts. Ms. Maeda was a local field anchor at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She has also worked in program production as a director, assistant producer, and interviewer of foreign athletes in the Sports Department and is currently employed in the Sales Department.
