After graduating from Kobe University Faculty of Education in 1991, Michikazu Matsushita joined Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (currently Panasonic Corporation).
He has served in numerous roles, including as Vice President, Panasonic UK & Ireland; President, Panasonic Consumer Marketing Europe; President, Panasonic do Brasil S.A.,; General Representative for Latin America; and President of Panasonic Latin America S.A.S.
In April 2022, he was named Managing Executive Officer and President of the Lifestyle Appliances Company, and was in charge of DEI promotion. He assumed his current roles in April 2023.
