PROFILE

Shione Kinoshita is an attorney at Dai-ichi Fuyo Law Offices. She graduated from Waseda University Faculty of Law and registered as a lawyer in 1985, and earned an LLM from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1992.
She was vice president of Dai-ichi Tokyo Bar Association from April 2004 to March 2005, visiting professor at the University of Tokyo Law School from April 2010 to March 2013, and has served as vice president of Tokyo Institute of Technology since April 2013.
Ms. Kinoshota serves on the Council for the Promotion of Measures to Prevent Death by Overwork, etc., as executive secretary of the Management Lawyers Conference, as director of the Japan Labor Law Association, and as vice-chairman of the Labor Law System Committee of the Dai-Ichi Tokyo Bar Association.
She has authored numerous publications, including "Q&A to Read: The Latest Labor Precedents Useful for Practice".

Ms. Kinoshita was named in the "Lawyers Chosen by Corporations" (labor), was ranked #1 in "Employment: Domestic-Japan,", was named "20 Employer Lawyers You Can Count on" by Diamon Weekly, and was named in "Lawyers whom companies trust"
