Hami Kim, an artist-turned-entrepreneur, is redefining the K-pop landscape with Kooky, a global entertainment platform. Drawing from her own experience as an artist, producer, and A&R (talent scout) Ms. Kim created a platform that connects over 135 million international fans of K-pop with their favorite artists, creates thriving communities, and offers personalized and hyper-localized content to ensure that every fan feels connected to the vibrant K-pop community. Kooky now boasts 1 million monthly users from 170 countries who engage with exclusive content, join exclusive events, and buy exclusive merch.
Ms. Kim graduated from the Hankuk Academy of Foreign Studies in 2008 and holds a B.S. in Philosophy and Statistics from Sunkyunkwan University (SKKU).
