Working women of all ages participate in the conference, ranging from early 20s to late 60s. The predominate age group
is 35-40 (26%), followed by 30-35 (22%), 20-25 (14%) and 40-45 (14%).
Women comprised 90% of the participants while men 6%. The men who attend are very involved in the conference. Some
participate with their wives or daughters.
Approximate 93% of the participants hold jobs. Among them, 68.2% work for corporations, 9.7% are freelancers and
business owners, 8.6% are CEOs, 2.7% temporary staff, and 1.9% part timers. Students comprise 1.3% of the total participants.

The median income is between 3 and 4 million yen and between 4 and 5 million yen, comprising 14% of participants.
26% earn more than 8 million yen while 14% earn more than 10 million yen annually.
Only 30% of all participants work for foreign-owned corporations. Over 50% of all corporate employees work for Japanese
companies.
50% percent work for companies with more than 100 employees while 30% work for companies with more than 1000 employees.
47% percent of all participants have job titles, including positions in management. 40% percent report that they
have subordinates reporting to them. These numbers indicate that a significant portion of participants holds management
positions.
69% say they are planning to change workplaces or start their own businesses. At the same time, the same percentage
of participants are eager to move up the corporate ladder and take on more responsibility.
