Yuko Shishido
Chief dietician, Aoyama Gakuin Elementary School
After graduating from the Department of Health and Nutrition, Kagawa Nutrition University, Ms. Yuko Shishido joined Aoyama Gakuin. She is currently in charge of nutrition and cooking for Aoyama Gakuin Elementary School. From 2002, she also started to work as a part-time trainer at Kagawa Nutrition University.
In pursuit of her philosophy that "food is culture," she utilizes her role to pass on to today's children the richness of culinary delights cultivated in Japan over the centuries. Along with helping them to enjoy food, she aims to enrich their knowledge about the foods they should eat to help them enjoy a long and healthy life.
