Tadashi Miyagawa

Mr. Tadashi Miyagawa graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Tokyo and the School of Advanced International Studies, John Hopkins University in the United States. He entered the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in 1982. Miyagawa-san moved to Vancouver, Canada in 1997 to work as the Consul for Economic Affairs in the Consulate- General of Japan, and returned to Tokyo in 2000 to become the Director for Diet Affairs in the Minister's Secretariat of METI. Mr. Miyagawa was appointed to his current position on Cabinet Office in 2002.
