Masahito Ishikawa

Mr. Masahito Ishikawa studied applied chemistry at the Faculty of Engineering, Kanagawa University. In his mid-twenties he became interested in dietary therapy and nutrition. After researching food culture and healthy ingredients in Japan and around the world, Ishikawa established a chemistry-based nutrition program with the goal of ultimate health. He is currently the president of Nutrition Act Co., Ltd. While pursuing health-related research and focusing on the relationship between the environment and a person's health, he promotes the spread of knowledge on chemistry and nutrition and aims to develop better, safer and more reliable foods. He works extensively with the general public and with corporations on a wide range of nutritional issues, including the link between food and a person's mental state, and the designing of relationship between food and body in contemporary society. His publications include "A completely new way to become beautiful" (published by Shoin).
