PROFILE

My lifelong passion for wildlife has brought me to South Africa when I was 20 years old. After completing Tourism degree at Rikkyo University in Japan as well as the local training program in Kruger National Park, I have become the first female Japanese Safari Guide in Southern Africa. I have been guiding over 9 years providing safari tours and online virtual safari events to raise awareness for wildlife conservation.
I do fundraise to support local conservation projects such as rhino dehorning to combat poaching and GPS collaring of animals to mitigate human wildlife conflicts in local communities.

I have regular appearance on major Japanese medias from TV and radio shows to newspapers and magazines to share the beauty of African wilderness with Japanese audience. Through "YukaonSafari" social media accounts, I am introducing daily lives surrounded by wildlife via Youtube, Podcast and Instagram. Published first book on 2023.
