PROFILE

Mio Kashiwamura joined Recruit in 1998 after graduating from university. In 2003, she proposed the expansion of "Zexy" into China, and launched the Chinese version of Zexy's "Minaki". After returning to Japan, she served as the general manager of the "Hot Pepper Beauty" business, the president of Recruit Staffing, and the president of Recruit Marketing Partners, before assuming her current position in April 2021. At university, she studied social welfare and wanted to work to support the social participation of people with disabilities, so she devoted herself to volunteering with the aim of becoming a social worker. Ms. Kashiwamura is a member of PHED (Platform on Disability and Higher Education) at the University of Tokyo.
