Ms. Achilles assumed Human Resource leadership positions at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, and Sumitomo 3M. She was Executive Officer at Aozora Bank, Shiseido, and SAP Japan, then took her current role from April 2019. She also serves as Special Advisor of Gender Equality Promotion for the City of Yokohama.
Ms. Achilles represented Japan at the APEC Women and the Economy Summits in 2010, 2011 and 2012. She was a speaker and on the Host Committee for the 2017 Global Summit of Women. She was also a delegate to the 2018 Women 20 Summit in Argentina, and on the Steering Committee for the 2019 Women 20 Summit in Japan. She was selected as one of the “Top 10 Influential Women in Global Diversity” by Diversity Global magazine in 2017.
Ms. Achilles graduated from Sophia University with a BA in Business Administration and from Fielding Graduate University with an MA in Organization Management.
