Yosuke Yagi

PROFILE
In January 2017, after taking HR leadership roles in large corporations, Yosuke Yagi founded a company, people first Ltd. Yagi provides professional HR services including establishment of HR strategy, leadership training, executive coaching and various HR consultation. Yagi assumes advisor positions in large companies in Japan.
Yagi also assists ICMG, a consultant company, as a board member.
Prior to establishing his own company, Yagi assumed Executive Officer and Executive Vice President position at LIXIL Group Corporation, a global leading company in the housing and living industry. He led HR to transform the company from a Japanese domestic company to a global company. Prior to that, he worked in GE from 1999 to March, 2012. He led multiple businesses as a HR leader in GE’s Asian businesses.
From 1980 to 1998, he worked for NKK (currently JFE), second largest steel company in Japan. Yagi received B. A. Degree from Kyoto University and Master of Science Degree in Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School.
