Kazuhisa Shibayama is the founder and CEO of WealthNavi, a Japanese robo-advisor which makes fully-automated, world-class wealth management services accessible to everybody. Since its founding in April 2015, WealthNavi has achieved over USD600M of AuM.

Prior to entrepreneurship, Kazuhisa worked at McKinsey's Tokyo and New York offices, advising financial institutions and other corporations on strategies for growth, cost-cutting and streamlining operations. Prior to McKinsey, he spent nine years working for the Japanese Ministry of Finance and the U.K. Treasury, where his work ranged from tax system reform and budget preparation to banking system stabilization and multilateral trade negotiations.

Kazuhisa received his LL.B. from the University of Tokyo, LL.M. from Harvard Law School, and an M.B.A. with distinction from INSEAD.
