Takashi Nagata was born on February 28, 1958 in Kagoshima Prefecture. He graduated from the Faculty of Business and Commerce at Keio University and joined Tohmatsu & Co. (now Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC) in 1995. After serving as a member of the Management Committee (now Board) and Acting CEO of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC, he was appointed chairperson of the boards for the Deloitte Tohmatsu Group and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC in 2015. He also served on the board of Deloitte Global and as a member of the Governance Committee, leading the Deloitte Tohmatsu Group and global governance. He has also served as a member of various committees, including the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s Gas System Reform Subcommittee of the Advisory Committee for Natural Resources and Energy.
Mr. Nagata will become the CEO of Deloitte Tohmatsu Group in June 2018.
