Genichi Tamatsuka
CEO and Managing Partner
Revamp Corporation
Mr. Tamatsuka was born in Tokyo in 1962. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Keio University. After joining Asahi Glass Company in 1985, he completed the MBA programs at Case Western Reserve University and the Garvin School of International Management at Thunderbird in Arizona. Upon returning to Japan, he joined IBM Japan. He entered Fast Retailing in 1998 and was appointed marketing director and, later, overseas operation manager. In 2002, he became the company's President, contributing to the rapid growth and business recovery of the Uniqlo brand. Mr. Tamatsuka established Revamp Corporation in October 2005, and is currently its CEO and Managing Partner.
