Hiroko Nomura
Editor-in-Chief, Nikkei Woman magazine
Ms. Nomura was born in 1962. She graduated from the Ochanomizu University Faculty of Letters and Education in 1984, and began working for U.P.U., an employment information company. In 1988, she helped launch Nikkei Anthropos magazine issued by Nikkei Home Publishing, Inc. In 1995, she was transferred to the Nikkei Woman magazine editorial department, and became its deputy editor-in-chief. She was named editor-in-chief in January 2003. Ms. Nomura is also a member of the Cabinet Office Social Policy Council. She has written "Hataraku josei no 24 jikan" [24 Hours of a Working Woman] (Nihon Keizai Shimbun).
