Keinosuke Kanehira
Writer, Critic, Columnist
Mr. Kanehira was born in 1932 in Tokyo, Japan, and graduated from Waseda University School of Political Science and Economy in 1956. Upon graduation, he joined Sumitomo Life Insurance Company, and became the Managing Director of the company and President of Sumisei Leasing in July 1982. He is currently an Advisor for Iwaki Research Institute Co., Ltd. and an Auditor of Iwaki & Co., Ltd., and gives lectures at the Yashima Gakuen University. He also gives lectures and writes columns for the general public, including businesspersons, housewives, educators, and parents of elementary and middle school children. His published works include "A Feast of Words", "Create a Stage", "'I Want Comfort Food' is a Magical Word", "The Charm of One Word", and "That's Just Fine".
