Chieko Konishi joined NHK in 2004. As a director at Fukui Broadcasting Station, she has been involved in the production of various broadcasts and programs, including news reports, sports broadcasts, documentaries, and music programs. In 2008, Ms. Konishi transferred to Tokyo. Upon return from maternity and childcare leave, she joined the drama production department. As a producer, she has worked on Drama 10 "Contrail: Crime and Love", "Fate: A Love Like Fate", the historical drama "Saigodon", the TV series "Yale", and the TV drama "Kirei no Kuni", and others. Ms. Konishi currently works as the managing producer in the department. She is also in charge of promoting diversity and inclusion.
