James Aquilina is the President and General Manager of ELC Japan K.K., where he leads the affiliate portfolio of over 10 brands in Strategy, Planning and Execution across all channels. Prior to joining the Japan team, James held roles of successive responsibility over a 16-year career with the company that include the General Manager of International and Global Commercial for MAC Cosmetics, the #1 prestige makeup brand worldwide, and General Manager of International for Tom Ford Beauty. James began his career with Estee Lauder Companies in Travel Retail, working in the Americas, Europe Middle East and Africa and New York in roles of increasing responsibility.

James is passionate about empowering diverse teams to reach their full potential, transforming global brands and making his way across the globe (50+ countries), and sharing the adventure with family.
