PROFILE

In 1982, Ms. Sato joined Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd and worked within the Human Resources & General Affairs Department in Tokyo. After living in the U.S., she returned to Japan and joined a foreign venture company. From 1996 to 2011, she held HR leadership positions in several businesses, including Organization Development, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partner, and Corporate Acquisition and PMI at General Electric in Japan. After working for Microsoft Japan Corporation from 2011 to August 2016 as Executive Officer and General Manager of Human Resources, and for Nokia in September 2016 as HR Leader for Japan and East Asia, she joined NEC Corporation in April 2018, where she currently works.
