Takeaki Kanaya
Digital Evangelist
Mr. Kaneya graduated from Sofia University. After working as Web Director at Sony Computer Entertainment, Mr. Kanaya joined Google Japan Inc. in 2007, where he works as a Search Education Evangelist to spread convenient ways of searching online. On a personal level, he also strives to raise local awareness on how to harness the Internet and cloud computing through lectures and other methods. Through his activities in the earthquake-hit area, he became convinced of the importance of encouraging users to make innovative changes, and thereby, energizing their local communities, as opposed to just developing the system and tools. He plans to keep expanding his personal activities, including his participation in this 16th Conference.
