Yoko Ishikura
Professor, Graduate School of Media Design, Keio University
Ms. Ishikura received an MBA from the University of Virginia, and a DBA from Harvard Business School.
She has been a manager at McKinsey & Company Inc., a professor at the School of International Politics, Economics, and Business at Aoyama Gakuin University, and a professor at the Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy at Hitotsubashi University.
She serves as non-executive director of FUJITSU LIMITED and Nisshin Foods Holdings, Co., Ltd. and a member of the Global Agenda Council of the World Economic Forum.
An expert in global business strategy and competitiveness, Ms. Ishikura's current research includes innovative concepts and social systems, strategy implementation for competitiveness of company, city, and country, and business strategy to create shared value by resolving global issues.
Her publications include "Strategic Shift from OR choices to the AND paradigm" (Toyo Keizai), "Strategy for Cluster Initiatives in Japan" (co-authorship, Yuhikaku), "Strategic Management" (translation, Toyo Keizai), "Global Career" (Toyo Keizai), "Career Development to become World-class professional" (co-authorship, Tokyo Keizai) (all in Japanese)
