Fujiyo Ishiguro
President & CEO of Netyear Group Corp.
Ms. Ishiguro received a BS in Economics from Nagoya University and an MBA from Stanford University. After working in marketing at Brother Industries, Ltd., she helped Swarovski to help launch their operations in Japan.
Later, as founder of a US-based consulting firm, she advised Silicon Valley startups such as Yahoo and Netscape, as well as mature technology companies, including Oracle and Adobe, and consulted for Sony, NTT, Toyota, and others on technology transfers between the US and Japan.
She joined Netyear Group Corp. in 1999, became president in 2000, and led Netyear group through its IPO in March of 2008 on TSE/Mothers.
Ms. Ishiguro was a visiting professor at Nagoya University in 2002 and 2010. Her latest book is "Don't try the work that your boss ordered". She is a commentator for several TV programs, a member of several Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry committees, and an advisory board member at ad:tech Tokyo.
