Scott T. Davis

Mr. Davis is a native of Australia. He graduated from the School of Sociology at the University of New South Wales in 1982 and earned a master's in sociology at Rikkyo University Graduate School in 1988. After working as a full-time researcher at the Japan Institute of Labor and a professor at the International School of Economics and Business Administration at Reitaku University, he accepted a professorship at the College of Business at Rikkyo University in 2006.
Mr. Davis specializes in business strategy theories and CSR. He previously served as a member of the Management Advisory Committee at IntegreX Inc. and as an external director at Ito-Yokado Co., Ltd. His current commitments include external director at Seven & i Holdings Co., Ltd., external corporate auditor at Nissen Holdings Co., Ltd., and external director at Bridgestone Corporation. Mr. Davis advises corporations on how to ensure fairness and legitimacy in Board decisions from the standpoint of business management and CSR.
