Rieko Sato
Division Sales Manager, Avon Products Co., Ltd.
Ms. Sato graduated the College of Education at Tamagawa University with a degree in theatre. She worked as an MC and a narrator before she married.
After being a housewife for a number of years, she joined Avon Products Co., Ltd. in 1990 as a Zone Manager in the Sales Department and flourished as a salesperson for Musashimurayama city in Tokyo. One of the top saleswomen in Japan, she has won three sales awards. Ms. Sato was promoted to Division Sales Manager in 1999, and in 2008, was named "World Sales Leader." Since then, she has been sales manager for the entire Kyushu region, central Tokyo, and the Hokuriku/Chukyo region.
She is currently sales manager for Kanagawa, Shizuoka, Yamanashi, and Nagano prefectures. In 2010, she is also active as a leader of the "Social Contribution Activity Task Force", which promotes Avon activities such as the Pink Ribbon campaign, environmental campaign, fighting against violence, and encouragement of women's community activities. She has a husband, three sons, and a dog.
