Satoko Matsuda

Leader, Corporate Diversity Promotion Division
Panasonic Corporation

Satoko Matsuda was born in Kyoto and joined Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (now Panasonic Corp.) after graduating the Faculty of Letters at Doshisha University in 1990. She was assigned to the Product Planning Group of the Lamp & Tube Division, where she was mainly responsible for market research and light source product planning for large commercial facilities. She participated in the Corporate Equal Partnership project from January 2001 and was named Leader when the Corporate Equal Partnership Division was launched in April 2001. She continues to serve in this capacity today.
Ms. Matsuda is working to cultivate a culture of rich diversity where a variety of people flourish, while expanding targets as the Division changed its name to the Corporate Equal Partnership Division and then to the Corporate Diversity Promotion Division.
