Hiroko Kusumi
Interior Designer
President, Home Design, Inc.
Ms. Kusumi was born in Fukuoka. She spent 11 years as an international flight attendant for Japan Airlines and then worked for Nomura Real Estate Development and Nomura Home. She later moved to New York to study interior design at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design and worked as an intern with the interior designer R. Mishaan. She established Home Design, Inc. in 1999, where she does interior coordination, remodeling design, and storage furniture manufacturing for houses, condominiums, and prototype residences under the motto "home design for life design." She also writes, lectures, and conducts seminars. Ms. Kusumi is also a moderator for the ewoman roundtable discussion forum.
