Keiji Hayashi

Mr. Hayashi was born in 1963 in Osaka. After graduating the School of Commerce at Waseda University in 1986, he joined ITOCHU Corporation in the same year.
As a salesman in the construction and real estate division, he was extremely busy disposing real estate after the prosperity of the bubble economy. From 1997 through 2000, he worked on behalf of employees to drive company transformation as the chairman of the ITOCHU Labor Union.
Mr. Hayashi was transferred to the Human Resources Division in 2005, where he executed revision of human resource policies. He is currently responsible for promoting human resource diversity and is committed to supporting the success of women on the main career track, workers in clerical posts, the elderly, foreign national employees, and mid-career hires.
