Minako Akioka
Assistant to President / Public Relations

Ms. Akioka was born in 1978. After graduating the Faculty of Integrated Human Studies at Kyoto University, she joined Recruit Agent Co., Ltd., where she was involved in new graduate/mid-career hiring and training in the Human Resources department. She was later transferred to the corporate sales section and seconded to Recruit Co., Ltd.. She was engaged in solution-oriented sales for clients such as consumer goods makers, distributors, and financial institutions.
In 2007, she joined the Japan Association for the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), a private organization and contact in Japan for the United Nations World Food Programme, a United Nations agency. She coordinated activities for WFP and private companies and planned events for the general public and was later named manager. In 2010, she joined ewoman, Inc. as Assistant to President / Public Relations.
She earned her B.A. at the University of Redlands in California, US. While she was in the US, she worked as an intern in the Washington D.C. bureau of a Japanese TV station. Ms. Akioka belonged to a hang glider/paraglider club as a student in Japan. She has one child.
