Xi Zhang
President, You You World Co., Ltd.
Ms. Zhang was born in Nanjing, China. In 1986, she graduated from the school of commerce at the Nanjing Finance and Trade College (now Nanjing Audit University) in 1986 and worked in an administrative position at a tourist hotel in Nanjing. In 1988, she came to study in Japan and later took a position with a travel agency but experienced three company bankruptcies. In 1995, she established a company in Shinjuku. Reflecting her desire for others to leisurely (yuyu jitekini) enjoy overseas travel, she named her company You You World.
Ms. Zhang aims for her company to have agile footwork, that is original and friendly and capable of arranging travel to anywhere in the world. The agency can handle foreign residents of Japan as well as Japanese citizens, and you can hear foreign languages such as English, Chinese, and Korean in the office. Under the company mantra of "courteous, accurate, and quick," overseas travel arrangements are made for 20,000 customers a year.
