Chisaki Endo

After studying 3D computer animation at Musashino Art University, Ms. Endo joined Takara Co., Ltd. (later merged with Tomy) upon graduation in 2005. During a planning and development training program for first-year employees, she planned and proposed the "Jinsei Ginko (Life Bank)," a coin bank that makes saving fun. This was commercially developed to become a huge hit, selling 450,000 units and creating a huge demand in the market for coin banks.
Ms. Endo was acclaimed for her work in developing Jinsei Ginko and was awarded second place in the "Hit Maker" category of Nikkei Woman magazine's "Woman of the Year 2008." She is encouraged by comments from customers that saving money has become enjoyable and engages in toy planning and development everyday with the aspiration of "making laborious things fun with the power of play."
