Akiko Kamimoto

Actress, Member of "Unit Bijin"

Ms. Kamimoto is from Nara Prefecture but was born in Malaysia in 1979. She graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design. She joined theatrical group Gekidan Eisei after working with Yoko Kuroki and is known for creating comedy through her charm and body movements. Her works include "Dongame Engekisai V-3" (Dongame Theater Festival V-3) (2006, Knit Cap Theater) and "Rinne ha Kiritsukeru (Metempsychosis Crosses)" (2007, Desudensho). In addition to her work with Gekiden Eisei, she acts, assists with a dance workshop, and is assistant lecturer at Okayama Prefecture University for "Team Governability" theatrical practices and at Doshisha University for a project course.
