Elok Halimah
Assistant, UNICUL International, Inc.
Ms. Elok was born and raised in East Java, Indonesia. After graduating from the Japanese Department at Gadjah Mada University in 2001, she worked as event coordinator for numerous international event and conferences in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In 2002, she went on to study at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies under a Japanese Government Scholarship and earned her master degree in Japanese Literature in 2006. Ms. Elok was active as an instructor of Intercultural Understanding Program at elementary, junior high, and senior high schools in the Tokyo area for 3 years, from 2003 to 2006 (International Audio-Visual Education Association). Prior to joining Unicul International, she worked as a legal secretary in Tokyo. She also serves as Vice Chairperson of the Foreign Assembly of Kawasaki City from April 2008.
