Michiko Achilles
Head of Talent & Organization Strategy, Sumitomo 3M, Ltd.
Ms. Achilles graduated from Sophia University, with a BA in Business Administration and from the Fielding Graduate Institute, with an MA in Organization Management. She started her career at Fuji Xerox Learning Institute as an intercultural communication consultant. She assumed Human Resource leadership positions in several global companies, including Citibank, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and ABN Amro Bank and Securities. She joined Sumitomo 3M in January 2004 and has held key leadership positions, including head of Human Resources Development, head of Human Resources, and head of Talent Management for 3M Asia Pacific. She assumed her current position as of May 2007. She is also a part-time lecturer at Kanto Gakuin University.
